About Me
Hi, I’m Lauren, and I’m here to help you connect with your energy, align your spirit, and rediscover your flow. As a certified Reiki Master, yoga instructor, retreat leader, and musician, I’ve found deep purpose in guiding others toward healing and transformation.
My passion lies in blending energy work, movement, and introspection to create experiences that are both grounding and uplifting. Through Reiki, I help you release what no longer serves you; through yoga, I encourage intuitive movement that nurtures your body and soul; and through retreats, I offer the space to pause, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
Outside of my healing work, I’m also a musician in a rock band called Quick Chills, where I sing, write lyrics, and play bass. Music fuels my creativity and inspires me to bring a sense of rhythm and flow to everything I do.
I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you uncover the tools you already have within to live a life of balance and intention.
My Yoga Story
I took my first yoga class at 20 years old, and during savasana, I experienced something I’d never felt before: my mind finally settled. Until that moment, I had struggled with anxiety for as long as I could remember, so I almost didn’t know what was happening—but I knew I needed more of it in my life.
Despite that first transformative experience, committing to a consistent yoga practice was a challenge. Flash forward eight years, and I found myself enrolled in my first yoga teacher training. Initially, I joined to deepen my understanding of yoga’s principles and give myself the structure to maintain a personal practice. But somewhere along the way, I felt the call to teach. After guiding my very first class, I knew that this was what I was meant to do.
Now, as an E-RYT 500, I teach full-time, focusing on vinyasa and yin yoga. No matter the style, my priority is always to guide you toward movements that feel most intuitive in your body. Whether through dynamic flow or slower, grounding poses, I aim to help you connect with yourself in a way that feels authentic and empowering. My journey began with a desire to quiet my own mind, and it has grown into a passion for helping others find their own moments of stillness, strength, and connection.
My Reiki Story
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had the ability to sense the energy of a room or an individual person. I didn’t understand what it was at the time, but I could feel the heaviness or lightness of the people around me. In my early 20s, my therapist put a name to it: I was deeply attuned to the energy around me. From that moment on, I began learning how to build energy shields to protect my own energy, especially since I spent years in environments like bartending and playing music, where I constantly absorbed the energy of others.
When I discovered a Reiki training at the yoga studio where I was teaching, I knew it was something I had to pursue. The first attunement was transformative in ways I hadn’t anticipated—I felt deeply connected to nature, animals, and people in an entirely new way. Most importantly, I realized I didn’t have to merely shield myself anymore. I could use my energy sensitivity to help others recognize and work with their own energy.
In 2019, I became a Reiki Master and have been working with individual clients ever since. Reiki is a practice of self-healing, and as a practitioner, my role is to guide energy that’s no longer serving you out of your system, creating space for renewal and reconnection. This process allows you to feel rested, refreshed, and aligned with your truest self, clearing the way for new energy to support your personal growth and well-being.
